Real Estate Opportunity is a skilled, full-service sales and property management company designed to meet all your buying, selling, leasing and management needs. We currently manage a diverse portfolio consisting of over 400 rental units, as well as over 500,000 square feet of commercial, office, industrial, multifamily and retail space.

Established in 1989, our broker, Jeff Keller, has over 30 years of knowledge and experience and has been an integral part in closing over $100 million dollars in real estate deals. With Real Estate Opportunity he and his team genuinely enjoy helping teach and assist some of the best commercial real estate agents in central Ohio and beyond!

Jeff brings over 30 years of real estate and property management experience to our company. His strong leadership and focus on business development have helped us to grow our diverse portfolio while building a brand that will carry us into the future. Jeff is a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan as well as an avid model train collector.

Jason Cicola

Chief Financial Officer

Jason took over as CFO in 2017 after two years as our Customer Accounts Manager. He honed his skills through 20 years in retail management. His attention to detail allows him to assist our clients and team members in making responsible financial decisions regarding daily operations. Jason is a singer/songwriter and can be found in the local scene following his undeniable passion for music.

Chief Executive Officer/Realtor

Michael began his career with Real Estate Opportunity right here in Columbus, joining the team as a Project Coordinator in the maintenance department. What started as a temporary position quickly turned into a long-term passion. With a natural ability to connect with people and a drive to help others meet their goals, Michael quickly rose through the ranks—earning promotions to Project Manager and then Property Manager in 2015. Today, he serves as CEO of Real Estate Opportunity, leading the company with integrity, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to both clients and the team. Mike is a nature enthusiast who spends his free time exploring the great outdoors.

Brian Throckmorton

Chief Opperations Officer

Brian Throckmorton is the Chief Operations Officer at Real Estate Opportunity, managing a $100M portfolio of residential, commercial, and retail properties. With an engineering background and a passion for real estate, he has grown portfolios and launched successful contracting and remodeling companies. Brian lives in Galena, Ohio, and enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors when he’s not driving property management innovation.

With over 20 years of experience in property management, Bobbie brings deep expertise, steady leadership, and a client first approach to every project. She has successfully managed a wide range of residential and commercial properties, building long term relationships through reliability, clear communication, and hands on problem solving. Outside of work, Bobbie enjoys exploring museums and attending live sporting events, always finding inspiration in art, culture, and the energy of the crowd.

Monica Pech-Banks

Assistant Property Manager

Specializing in tenant accounts, Monica’s role as a bilingual assistant to both the property management and maintenance teams is invaluable. Striving to resolve tenant issues, while managing delinquent accounts and daily operations, her focus on both tenant and owner success is paramount. After hours, you will likely find Monica poolside, surrounded by family.

Mike Downey

Senior Project Manager

An integral part of our team, Mike keeps both residential and commercial properties projects running smoothly while helping our owners to grow and improve upon their investments. Mike's years of facility management has served our team, investors, and tenants tremendously well. His off hours are filled with fishing trips with his grandchildren.

Maintenance Personnel Manager

Kenya brings a great depth of skill and structure to our daily maintenance operations while providing support to our ever-growing team. His passion and dedication are second to none. Kenya is our face on the front lines, taking the lead on tenant interaction. During the warmer months, Kenya can be found at one of his favorite fishing holes on the east coast.
